Welcome to the Mendo-Lake Baptist Associational website. We are here to fulfill God's dream for Mendocino & Lake counties. We do this through three priorities: Strenghtening churches, Encouraging pastors and Starting New Churches.
We have started a new ministry in partnership with the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (GGBTS). Pastor Joe Fry is teaching a seminary class (Ministry Foundations) Tuesday evenings. The ministry, Mendo-Lake Bible Institute will be offering additional classes this coming fall (2007)
To e-mail the DOM use dom.mlkbaptist@juno.com . For associational info/questions etc., use mendolakebaptist@juno.com. My personal e-mail is dgscoles@juno.com.
We are also praying for our two pastorless churches, FBC Hopland and FBC Redwood Valley.
We have added our newsletters to the website. Look under the Info Center.
We are in prayer about planting another Hispanic new work in Clearlake probably using the Village Baptist Church's facilities. We are also in prayer about the possibility of a Hispanic new works in Hopland and Ft Bragg. Please pray with us for God's direction.
Reminder for our pastors: Beginning in January 2007 Corridor pastors meet every 1st & 3rd Tuesday at 8 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church Ukiah; Lake pastors meet every 2nd Saturday at 9 a.m. at FBC Upper Lake and the Coast pastors meet every 1st Saturday at 9 a.m. at Mendocino Baptist.
